In August 2018 Rosh had the amazing privilege of meeting with Dr. Xolie Jones and the team from SAWIC. The national mandate given to SAWIC by the Father was to effect oneness among the women of South Africa. This then became the mandate of the women of East Gate Family Church and all women relating to EGFC from other provinces.
John 17:21-22 That they all may be one, [just] as You, Father, are in Me and I in You, that they also may be one in Us, so that the world may believe and be convinced that You have sent Me. I have given to them the glory and honour which You have given Me, that they may be one [even] as We are one:
Within a period of six months, the SAWIC family of women grew phenomenally and hearts were knitted together across the racial divide. In essence, we found bone of our bones and flesh of our flesh.
Presently most of our ministry concerning women is carried out with the family of SAWIC. Rosh plays a major role in the leadership team of SAWIC, and in teaching the word of God to women nationally.
The plans of SAWIC are to help women leaders to heed the call of God and to be strengthened in their calling. Teams of women are preparing to empower women leaders in the various sectors of society. There are also teams being prepared to assist with the school ministry to teachers, parents, and pupils.
The SAWIC team is growing in leaps and bounds and daily strategic women are being added to the team. Women leaders from the educational, social, economic, mining, media, medical and business sectors are being added to SAWIC leadership.
These leaders are being trained and equipped to touch all women in South Africa, to strengthen and help them find their identity in Christ. The belief is that a wise woman builds her home. A strong woman means strong children, a strong family, and a strong community.
